Things I am so thankful for .....

Hi all !!

The other day I posted on facebook that I just LOVED my hubby to pieces !!! Well peoples .... this is why ......

I have been meaning to post this picture for the last week or so but just haven't got there yet, until today.  I thought of this idea for my punches a little whie ago and finally bought what was required and asked Joe to help me put it all together, which he did. THANK YOU so much as it's brilliant !!! Iwas going to paint it but was sooooooooo excited about getting it done and up that I just counldn't wait !!!! hee hee So that will have to come later now. Don't you think it's soooo cool.

Now next thanx goes to our gorgeous SUSY  for helping out with our FLOWER class last week. She showed all how to make this beautiful flower and popped it on a little card. So cute ... and the card too !!!

Next are these fab shoes that I found of all places in Big W !! They cost about $7.30 and I am thankful that I found them, they fit and they are soo comfortable !!

happy birthday Kathryn !!!

Well here we are at Bendigo with Kathryn for her birthday. I packed party hats for us to wear and a lovely lady sitting on a table next to us kindly offered to take our photo!! How sweet of her to be so kind. I had travelled to Swan Hill last Friday to spend a few days with Coco. On the Sunday, we ventured to Bendigo to see dear Kathryn and it just happened to be her birthday too!!!This is the card that I made for her birthday.Kathryn loved her album with everyone's pages in it. It's soft and green .... cool !!! hee heeWe had a lovely lunch at 'The Boardwalk' on the lake and then we headed off to do some shopping.

Kathryn didn't have a car in the end so we were able to take her home & check out their new house. How cool was that.!!! Nice place with lots of room inside and out!! A little way out of Bendigo but not too far really. All too soon our visit was over and it was time to say bye bye.

Card ...

This is a pic of an envelope for a friend's birthday. I don't have a pic of card as I sealed it up first without thinking of taking a pic, so will take one when it's opened. This is a bookmark that I found at Trev's yesterday. I brought it home & added my own touch to it. This is a birthday card that I have made for one of Jamie's mates. His mother turns 50 later in the year & he asked me to make a card for her. I got inspired & created it now so it's done. This is the inside of card.I even decorated the envelope too.I was very pleased with how it turned out.

Easter.

I can't believe we still have one day to go for the Easter break !!! How good is that. Not sure what we're up to tomorrow but  I know that I must do some washing !!! hee hee
Yesterday Joe & myself ventured to Mount Gambier for a little R&R. He has been working so hard & long that it was nice to just be together & chill. We did a little bit of shopping and then enjoyed a coffee sitting on a beautiful leather couch in the old flour mill. We then popped along to the movies and watched 'The Blind Side'. Fabulous movie - funny, serious, sad, and based on a true story. We both enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it to all.
By the time the movie was over, it was time for a meal. Chinese was the order of the day & we enjoyed a small banquet for two. Yummo and so filling.
We did think earlier of seeing another movie but we were now just happy to drive on home, with our bellies full, feeling content and relaxed. Thank you Joe for a beautiful day & for making me laugh. Love you. xxx
Today was great waking up and realising that time had not stopped but had moved backards - one whole hour !!! Thank you !!!
After a bit of a lazy start, we packed up what we needed & headed down to the shop to fit a second hand air conditioner. Jamie was happy to help out and I thank you for that mate. You know I am your biggest fan !!! I enjoyed my play time on the oval with Chloe and pottered around the shop getting some little jobs done. And may I add that the air con looks fantastic !!! Great job guys.
The kids came for tea tonight [well half of them as the other half are camping] which was nice to be able to spend time with family.
I am so thankful for all that I have as I am truly blessed !!!
So now I am looking forward to our kids classes in the holidays at the shop, having Susy around for some helpful know how & hints and heading off to Swan Hill for some me time with my fav girl, Coco. So looking forward to seeing Dave & Tom too and catching up with Kathryn on Sunday. I surely have so much to look
forward to.
