Donna Downey rocks !!!!!

This is a canvas kit that I bought from Donna awhile back. I popped it on my shelf and over time, the kit got pushed to the back and forgotten. I moved something the other day & re-discovered it.I couldn't wait to get started !! There was gluing & painting, stitching & stamping, inking and WIRE!!!!I had so much fun completing it, I got it done in no time. Sorry the pics are not the best but I wanted to post some and was in a big rush, so just took these quickly.

Some things I'll share ......

Hello everyone !!! Hope you are all staying warm & cosy. We have had some very foggy mornings, with thick fog that does not look like it's going to clear. But then by lunch, it lifts and the sun is trying to shine through.

 I thought that I would share some projects that I have completed over the last week or so.

This is my handbag. I coloured it with Glimmermist and then added some flowers and bling to jazz it up. It looks really cool I think. This is the front and ...... This is the other side. I did seal it with some fabric sealer so it doesn't 'run' if it gets wet.

This is a 7 Gypsies painters Tray that I decorated for a friend who is going into hospital. I wanted her to have something that she could take with her to hospital so it would  feel like home. She loved it.

This sight has been outside our shop window for the last two nights and as I left class tonight, they were dismantling the BIG TOP.
They will be on their way tomorrow morning to a new place, for a new adventure.

Catching up .....

Hi all !! Hoping this finds you all well and warm.

This is a layout I completed a few weeks ago. I must thank Susy for the pics but hopefully I will be able to take some closer ones myself now. I bought a zoom lens and will practice some photo taking.

This is a card I made for one of our staff members who is going on materity leave at the end of this week. This is a birthday card I made for a staff member.

This is another birthday card I made last night for someone very special.

This is our feet in the red, white and blue shoes of ten pin bowling !!!! We went for a game after we had been to see David Strassman and Ted E Bare.

And here we are ........ Mr. Ted E. Bare !!!! Sorry the pic is a little blurry but it was one of those quick 'on the spot' pics. hee hee

The show was absolutely FANTASTIC !!!! We laughed from start to finish. So funny and David is one very talented man !!!

not sure, hee hee !!!

It was my turn to supply cake and card for a staff member's birthday today. I made chocolate mudcake cake with strawberries and cream and this is the card I made for all to sign. As there are many staff to sign, I added an extra page for plenty of room.

Been busy at the shop and cruised out to footy today to see my boy play and helped out in the canteen for a few hours.

Hi everyone. I've finally had time to blog some of the my lastest cvreations I've made.

This one is a layout that I did of Helen's granddaughter - Sophie. She is just beautiful.

This is my lastest canvas. I glimmermisted the flowers [although this pic you can't really see] and then I've also stamped and painted, added some rub-ons and pearls. So ........ what do you think people ????

 Of course there HAD to be a butterfly !!! heehee

This is a card that I was asked to make for a friend who wanted to thank some very special people. She loved it and I hope the recipiemts did too !!
