This is my altered frame for Finn's Denim Journal Giveaway Challenge. |
I created this altered frame for Finnabair's Denim Journal Giveaway challenge. I used a old pair of my son's jeans. I cut out the back pocket and added some cogs, a butterfly and the word - 'imagine'. I added a touch of gold and white paint, along with some blue mica spray.
The frame I covered with some texture paste and crackle paint. I then added some strips of denim and made a flower from the leg of the denim jeans. I covered the frame with gesso followed by white paint. I dry brushed on some gold paint but left the flower and some denim pieces untouched. Finally I sprayed with some blue mica spray and painted the edges of the frame black. I dry brushed a very small amount of black paint over the top of the frame to finish it off.
I enjoyed the journey of making this frame using denim and hope you like it too.
Cheers for now.
luv me xxooxx
