Coco's visit.

Hello friends.

We were blessed to have Coco visit and host a collage card class at the shop. It was so good to have the chance to catch up with her & the boys [Dave & Thomas]. We had such fun and laughs on Tuesday night at my place. Thanks girls for making the effort to call around for lots of giggles and hugs.

We had wonderful attendance at the classes. Thank you for your support and I'm sure everyone had a blast and learnt more about creating a collage card.
I am happy to inform everyone that the family made it safely to Adelaide and Coco was able to get to the seaside and dip her toes into the water [albeit it was FREEZING !!! lol].
Thanks Coco and boys for sharing a small snippet of your holidays with us here back in Naracoorte.
Thanks again everyone for your support.
Looking forward to my holidays starting tomorrow........ yeah !!!!
Cheers for now.

Hi bloggers.

I'm working on this piece at the moment. I've painted it and Mod Podged it. Not sure what I'm going to do next  ..... we'll have to wait and see.

 Thought I'd show a card I made with a new stamp I bought from e-bay. Gotta LOVE e-bay !!!

And just to finish off for today ...... a little house that I built !! Isn't it just soooooo cute !!!

Thanks for checking in and I'm excited about Coco's visit to Naracoorte tomorrow!! Can't wait.
Cheers for now and stay safe & warm.

One happy hubby !!

Hi bloggers. Well you know there's nothing better than some fishing to keep the man happy. Joe was lucky enough to be able to head out for a spot of tuna fishing at Port MacDonald last weekend. Joe & a few buddies had a wonderful time hauling in about 35 tuna by lunch time. Of course they only kept 6 as per the rules but the thrill is in the catch ... hey.

What a great day they all had.

This was a pic out my front yard one very cold & frosty morning. Brrrrrr .... the thought still makes me shiver !!

Well thanks for checking in.
Cheers for now.

Donna Downey rocks !!!!!

This is a canvas kit that I bought from Donna awhile back. I popped it on my shelf and over time, the kit got pushed to the back and forgotten. I moved something the other day & re-discovered it.I couldn't wait to get started !! There was gluing & painting, stitching & stamping, inking and WIRE!!!!I had so much fun completing it, I got it done in no time. Sorry the pics are not the best but I wanted to post some and was in a big rush, so just took these quickly.

Hope you like it.
Cheers for now.

Some things I'll share ......

Hello everyone !!! Hope you are all staying warm & cosy. We have had some very foggy mornings, with thick fog that does not look like it's going to clear. But then by lunch, it lifts and the sun is trying to shine through.

I thought that I would share some projects that I have completed over the last week or so.

This is my handbag. I coloured it with Glimmermist and then added some flowers and bling to jazz it up. It looks really cool I think. This is the front and ...... This is the other side. I did seal it with some fabric sealer so it doesn't 'run' if it gets wet.

This is a 7 Gypsies painters Tray that I decorated for a friend who is going into hospital. I wanted her to have something that she could take with her to hospital so it would  feel like home. She loved it.

Well that's all for now bloggers. Enjoy your night.

Shall we run away with ..........

the circus ?????

This sight has been outside our shop window for the last two nights and as I left class tonight, they were dismantling the BIG TOP.
They will be on their way tomorrow morning to a new place, for a new adventure.
Good luck guys.

Catching up .....

Hi all !! Hoping this finds you all well and warm.

This is a layout I completed a few weeks ago. I must thank Susy for the pics but hopefully I will be able to take some closer ones myself now. I bought a zoom lens and will practice some photo taking.

This is a card I made for one of our staff members who is going on materity leave at the end of this week. This is a birthday card I made for a staff member.

This is another birthday card I made last night for someone very special.

This is our feet in the red, white and blue shoes of ten pin bowling !!!! We went for a game after we had been to see David Strassman and Ted E Bare.

And here we are ........ Mr. Ted E. Bare !!!! Sorry the pic is a little blurry but it was one of those quick 'on the spot' pics. hee hee

The show was absolutely FANTASTIC !!!! We laughed from start to finish. So funny and David is one very talented man !!!

Cheers for now.
