Monarto Zoo

During our stay over Christmas at mum's in Murray Bridge, we went to Monarto Zoo. This was our first time there as it was always one of those things we were always going to do, but never seemed to get there!!
The day was pretty warm so the animals were mostly chilling but we stilled enjoyed it!!
Plenty of water was drunk by all and plenty of shots were taken by me.
I would like to go back again one day as they were doing so much more for the public to see. Maybe I can get a day with the lions or something????

Meerkats!! You just gotta love 'em!!! I couldn't get over how tiny they really are in real life!! They looked so much bigger on TV.

Oh what a nice day for a laze!!!! These creatures are so majestic!!

This was so a 'kodak' moment!!! Mother & baby - how sweet. I don't think I did too bad from inside a bus!!!

Our Christmas.

This is the boys and girls enjoying part of their christmas presents at Nana's. We have had an xbox for awhile now & the boys just got guitar hero world tour complete band!!!! Wow aren't you inpressed that I could even write all that!!!!
Anyway us old folks have even had a go at it!! Not real good at it but it was heaps of fun!!!
This is the sunset at mum's place. Isn't it just beautiful!!!! This is what mum gets to look at each evening out her back door.

This is the FABULOUS set of mugs Tan received as a 'thank you' from Kaisercraft. WOW, they are soooooooooooooooo cool!! We ALL want them!! hee hee lol

My boys think I'm OBSESSED!!! lol

We were just about to have some lunch after visiting a friend when Kirby called around to head off to a clearing sale. Well, we postponed lunch & toodled off with her!! I had a look around & nothing had grabbed my fancy but then I saw this!! I was lucky enough to have only one other person bidding & I WON!!! Yeah.
I thought that I might decorate it with ribbons, beads & things.
What do you guys think?????
I thought it was a bargain & just had to have it!!
Finally we did get home for lunch, just a little late, hee hee! But it was worth it I reckon.

Christmas Shopping!!

Hello all you beautiful people out there!!! I hope that you are all very weel & coping with the busy Christmas time.
I was fortunate enough to be offered a seat with Coco & family travelling to Mount Gambier today. I jumped at the chance to get some christmas shopping done!! WOW it was great to get there early & we were lucky to be able to find some real bargains.
We had lunch at Fasta Pasta!! Yummmmmmmmmmmmm, it was good but boy were we FULL afterwards!! We did the usual - K-Mart, Target, Spotlight & Harvey Norman!!!
David and Thomas were absolutely FANTASTIC putting up with all the shoppping, all day!! Thanks so much guys, do appreciate it heaps!!
We stopped off at Penola on the way home & had icecream!!! Ohhhhh - I had lime & chocolate, it was fabulous as I have not had an icecream in a cone like forever!!!
So now I'm feeling a bit better about Christmas presssies now!!!
